SOC and KTSU2 to host virtual finals’ jamboree

The School of Communication and KTSU2 will host a virtual finals’ bash Friday, April 30 at noon on Zoom.
The event is titled “Countdown to Finals” and is designed to give students that last big push before final exams, which are May 3 -7.
“We know that our students have had a very challenging semester due to the ongoing pandemic,” said School of Communication Dean Rockell Brown Burton. “We want them to know that we appreciate them and want them to do well.”
The virtual midday jamboree will have student emcees Ta’Mia Taylor and Nahab Fahnbulleh, prize giveaways, school updates and visits from student services, Dean Brown Burton and more.
Radio personality and KTSU2 program director “Radio Richh” will spin the turntable virtually and drop all the latest jams.
The School of Communication and KTSU2 have been leading innovative online activities like this since fall 2020.
The first virtual event was held October 2 and received rave reviews.
