#CommWeek2024 amplifies diverse voices in media and communication

Texas Southern University’s School of Communication hosts its annual conference April 5-12 in the MLK building.
The focus this year is amplifying diverse voices in media and communication. Some of the nation’s top journalists, academics, filmmakers, musicians, content creators, and more will be at the university.
They will share their perspectives on how the academy, media, music, and film are bridging the gap of misconception, destroying stereotypes, tearing down walls of hate and intolerance, and building consensus and understanding on political, economic, and social justice issues across cultures.
