TSU tigers will be making big bucks this semester.

The TSU Career and Professional Development Center hosted the Hire A Tiger On Campus Job Fair this past Friday.

Fifteen employers were at the job fair looking to hire Texas Southern University students.

“We have a range of different offers,” Career and Professional Development Center Director Andreaus Boise said. “We have the Board of Relations, TSU Library, the Recreation Center, OIT, TRIO, Enrollment Management, the Aquatic Department, and we have someone from Disaster Recovery Services. They are hiring students for $30 an hour as interns.”

Disaster Recovery Services was one of the most popular jobs at the job fair.

Students eagerly lined up awaiting details about the job fair’s highest paying job.

“We are looking for students who are at least a junior level or higher and individuals who are self-starters,” Disaster Recovery Services Recruiter Dr. Kimberly Adams said. “The position is remote. We need individuals who are assertive, great communicators, have experience with Microsoft Outlook, and individuals who have experience with excel.”

All jobs represented at the job fair can be found on Handshake.

The TSU Career and Professional Development Center will host the All Majors Career Fair on Sept. 23rd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center.

The career fair is the Career and Professional Development Center’s biggest event of the year.

Students will be connected with some of the top employers in the country.

All students who plan to attend the career fair should dress professional and bring multiple copies of their resumes.
